The Inspiration Behind the Guided Hands Program

I’ve had the privilege to teach a lot of therapists over the years—everything from beginners in massage school to experienced licensed massage therapists. They came to my classes and learned something that inspired them to dive into the work that I teach. (To inspire further learning is always my goal, because it is something that is so important to me as a therapist… and as a human.)

The more I learn and practice, though, the more I see the need to be able to do this work all over the body, across all body systems. Most classes just touch the tip of the iceberg. How can I help people to get over the hump and really learn to integrate this work into their treatments and make a real difference in their clients’ health?

The Guided Hands Program.

Why I Created This Program

I’ve been practicing hands-on therapy for over 20 years, and for much of that time I’ve studied and integrated gentle, precise, and highly effective techniques into my work.

But what truly changed my practice was the mentorship I have received, from some very experienced and thoughtful practitioners.

Also helpful:

  • Repetition

  • Refinement

  • Feedback

  • Clinical application over time

  • The opportunity to get coaching from therapists who had been doing this work for a long time.

That’s not something you get from a single weekend class.

The Guided Hands Program was created to offer a clear, structured path for therapists who want to go beyond collecting tools, and develop skill, confidence, and clinical clarity.

A Different Way to Learn

This program isn’t about rushing.

It’s about depth.

By committing to the full series of classes, you’re saving on tuition, of course. You’re also stepping into a progressive learning experience, where each course builds on the last.

You start to:

  • Feel more with your hands

  • Recognize patterns in the body

  • Understand how different systems relate

  • Make more intentional treatment decisions

  • You learn to understand what the body is trying to tell you

From Learning to Mastery

For those who complete the full program, there’s an opportunity to take it even further.

The certification process includes:

  • A written exam to solidify your understanding

  • A hands-on practical assessment with me

This isn’t about pressure or perfection.

It’s about making sure you leave with clarity and confidence—knowing that you can apply what you’ve learned in a meaningful and effective way. One on one time with an instructor can really boost your ability to integrate this work into your deep understanding.

Real-World Application

One of the things I’ve always valued most in my own learning is time spent in the treatment room, seeing how this work unfolds with real clients. It reveals what I am missing still, and what I need to refine.

Really, our clients teach us far more than any instructor ever could. And if we care deeply about our clients and the quality of our work, we will be driven to keep learning, until the very end.

That’s why I’m also creating opportunities for students to spend time with me in a clinical setting, observing and refining their skills in a more personalized way.

Those details will continue to evolve, but the intention is simple:

To bridge the gap between learning and doing.

Whom This Is For

The Guided Hands Program is for licensed therapists who:

  • Want to go deeper

  • Are ready to commit to growth

  • Value quality, nuance, and precision

  • Feel called to create real, lasting change for their clients

If that’s you, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I designed this program to guide you, step by step, into becoming the kind of practitioner you know you’re capable of being.
